It Felt as If she Had Dropped. A Long, Long Way from the Moon ....
She could have, as she felt so out of place. Why was she here? She could not complain, the land was lovely, the others were happy, yet she felt as if she were a stranger, no matter how hard she tried. It was the only place she ever called home, and the others called it "Willow".
Cheyenne was very aware she stood out from the others who lived in Willow Tribe. Her skin not dark, not olive, not fair, with the strangest of spots spattered all over her body, especially on her tiny little face. To her the others were "The Beautiful Ones" and she was just a Faerie Freak.
Her wings shifted colors of silver and moonstone, pearl and mossy green. It were these Wings that made Cheyenne Smile!. They were soft of see-through and had a radiance that was shinier than any of the other faeries in her Willow Tribe. She seemed to be able to fly higher than any other faerie with these wings.
While the Other Faries had great colors and strong markings, like that of a butterfly, Cheyenne's seemed to change and shift to capture the colors of the rainbow! Red, Orange, Yellow, Green Blue and Indigo. They played with the light, the weather, the moon and the stars and even her very own moods. Some days they were Crystal Blue and others they were mixed with many different hues. Cheyenne's wings were that which gave her strength and made her feel extra special at times.
The Faeries of Willow Tribe is where Cheyenne found her HOMe.
It would be later that she would finally meet her family ...
