A move back on-grid to North America 2020, was far from the beauty of a sustainable, yogic life-style, ocean, gardens, horses, off grid in Hawaii. Depression.
I began to see a doctor with abdominal pain, lethargy, weakness and found to have fatty liver and hypercholesterolemia. This all came over a 4 year period and hit hard by the 5th year. I was offered gallbladder surgery in 2021. I refused to have surgery due to the heavy metal toxicity and mistrust of anesthesia. My life was destroyed. Food was my only comfort and not the alkaline vegan, vegetarian diet I once enjoyed. Processed foods are not something I would have eaten, but due to being out of my awareness from my condition, became cheap and easy.
It was 2023 that I sought a cardiologist for chest pain and shortness of breath. I could not complete an Exercise Stress Test due to the hip pain and was offered a Nuclear Stress Test! I was beginning to see another me I never imagined! There was no way I would endure a nuclear stress test and the radiation. I have lead and cadmium heavy metal toxicity!
All my real infinite knowledge became lost as to how to deal with my suffering. Meditation was painful. This happens to people when they have to heal themselves. They forget how to breathe. I started with the basics.
I chose to reintegrate back into my spirituality of prayerful dedication of being in right relationship with myself. I took a hard long look at my physical self and got to the root of why I was where I was. With that understanding, I chose to do a liver cleanse. This was the start of it all. I then told my cardiologist my love of Ayurveda and that I wanted to try something conservative instead of the nuclear stress test. Lets work on the hip pain. I told him of the nephrotoxicity of calcium and wanted to try Hadjod. I never do pain medications. Turmeric, Chocolate, Tylenol. My primary care agreed that we would trial Hadjod with conservative care and we got physical therapy lined up.
My physical therapist altered everything about my condition. PT along with Hadjod added to my supplements, a return to a clean diet and the liver cleanse all have been miraculous. The chest pain is gone! The hip pain is GONE. I am stronger, able to run up and down the stairs STRAIGHT. I do not limp any longer. My strides are stronger. I am gaining better mobility and flexibility with the physical therapy!
I am signed up with a GYM, which I need to get better involved with. I have slipped a bit, but with the excellent care of my team, I now have cardiac clearance! Echocardiogram shows no problems. I await my next lab values to check my hypercholesterolemia and liver functions. My weight has dropped significantly. I am back on MAT! Yes! Imagine That!
